Kyle Highsmith was born in Greenville, North Carolina, and received a Bachelor of Science from The School of Design, NCSU. He quickly put down his architect pencil and has been devoted to painting full time for over twenty-five years. Kyle paints "en plein air", traveling throughout Europe and The United States. His use of vivid color results in bold canvases that express energy and joy for life.
