"“My paintings are in a style of contemporary realism. While I enjoy the challenge of representing a scene, I allow the creative process to play a role in defining the piece so that the result is a combination of real and imagined space.

When creating a piece using both acrylics and oils, I get an added dynamic from both mediums with the attributes that they possess.

Many of my paintings show the countryside of Italy and the rural beauty of its hills and villages. I want to savor the light, the shadow, and the color and capture a moment that will create a visually stimulating painting.”
